About Lovesbody
Weekend Workshops:
These workshops are designed as a live enquiry, delivered in a combination of information and practical sessions. Jane's style of work is very organic and integrates whatever is present and alive within each group.
Each weekend will be grounded in resource skills; the latest understanding in the biology of nurturing; breath of well being; understanding and mastering survival reflexes; touching base with our fluid intelligence; 'Elements Touchİ'; original play and connecting deeply to our own life source.
LovesBody explorations invite an inquiry into breath, sound, fluid movement, focusing of attention and helping feel and identify sensation. Sensation is the language of the body. When we are able to articulate this language we gain entry into a deeper level of self-appreciation.
Jane will bring in an enquiry, for example through latest research in the area of the 'biology of nurturing', or an understanding of our how our nervous system links with our breathing to take us either into survival response (i.e. flight / fight / freeze) or our creative potential and presence. Session work enables the participants to deepen their relationship to their internal audiovisual communication, nurturing and resources, and then through practical sessions and processes, the participants discover their own inner world and magic.

Background for Love's Body workshops
We are essentially a fluid system. We grew within a fluid environment, and when the fluid in our system is active and vibrant, we are connected - literally. But where there is dryness and dehydration the different parts of our body are not fully connected and moving freely. Cells respond, move and develop most easily within a fluid environment. Remember that love creates fluidity and increases cells mobility. 'Sensuality' is healing, being awake in our senses. Our skin is a major sense organ. It is also our first line of defence and if our skin is tight and hard then it has a direct impact on our immune system.
We want to encourage diversity in the system so that is doesn't lock into set patterns. Layering keeps bringing the energy back into our system. It is also the same movement of fluid and allows us to go deeper into our system. Notice the difference between circular motion and linear motion.
Understand how the development of our brain contributes to our capacity for bonding, play and awakening. Discover how our brain is shaped through our experiences. As a baby we have millions of neural signals and those that get interacted with develop. The rest goes onto the back burner. One definition of health that I like is that "health is our (human's) ability to shift" - ie. our mutability. People mainly work around homeostasis, our reference point is imprinted and works around this. We gradually become more and more fixed - our brain is a pattern addict. If on the other hand, on a daily basis, we give ourselves different reference points from which to come, we begin to break up our tendencies. Our system can become dynamic and we have the ability to operate through many reference points.
